Hang Up and Drive

View the 2-minute "Hang Up and Drive" video on YouTube. Driving while talking on a cell phone is like driving drunk.

Is there a difference between talking on the phone and talking to the person next to you? Are you still imaging the other mind of the person who is physically in the car with you? Or is it the the lack of visual cues about the person that makes the project process more brain intensive? Or is it the physical interaction of the phone, in which case would a hands free phone be fine?

What about eating and driving? People have been doing that as long as cars have been invented, yet people hardly are angered by that.

Is it right to use computer analogues for how the brain works?
